Within the forum, there are certain ranks or groups you will need to know about.
First is the Councils. In the Trekkie side, they are Federation Councillors, and on the Warsie side they are Grand Admirals. These are people who make decisions for a side, pertaining to their interest. For example, they vote on Moderators and the next rank up, Lead debaters. I pick them based on who exemplifies themselves as, first of all, a Veteran, and secondly, as someone who shows distinctive flair or style. They can be a conformist to the majority of the debaters of the one side, or they can be a complete nonconformist. Who knows? Maybe if we start getting dozens and dozens of new people I will set it up for elections instead of my appointments.
Lead Debaters are individuals that each side sees as their best, and represents best the arguments of the side. They are either the Sith Emperor or the Federation President, and are elected by the Councils of the respective group they are leading. They have a Council Vote in case of a tie, but they are not and cannot become Moderators, as their job is to represent their side of the argument.
Then there are Agents, either ISB or Section 31. They are responsible for moderating the Corners, and are elected by the Council.
Moderators are just that, Moderators. Junior Moderators are people who have fulfilled the requirements to become a Moderator and are in trial phase for me to see how they do and ensure that they will not abuse power.
